Las Mariposas have flown:

Third graders have completed their symbolic butterflies and we have sent them off to be cared for by our neighbors to the south in Michoacan, Mexico.  Each student made their own individual butterfly and a puzzle piece to go on our class butterfly.  Each student wrote a message of goodwill on their butterfly in Spanish.  Here are the butterflies we sent:

Mrs. Hobbs' class:

Mrs. Marshall's class:
Mrs. Sayegh's class:

Mrs. Tiba's class:

In the spring we should receive a small butterfly in return for each student that sent one and 4 large class size butterflies.  This is the 3rd year that Grange Hall is participating in this wonderful activity and each year is slightly different.  We all have something wonderful to look forward to in the spring.
