Spanish club members got started off by making their own piñatas. This time consuming project will take several meetings to complete, but will be totally worth it when all is said and done. While the girls were cautioned to keep their forms pequenas, they tended to go for the grande size and learned that covering all of that space with paper mache is difficult. The piñatas are drying and will hopefully turn out as nice as expected. The Spanish club members also learned how to make fresh salsa (in the dead of winter) with easy to find ingredients and many wrote down the recipe to take home and try on their own. Buena suerte!
